The Model Y third harmonic strain wave gear is a future-oriented new generation of harmonic drive system based on patented speed reducer technology developed by Leaderdrive. It has an exclusive brand-new structure and tooth profile design and uses third harmonic technology to replace second harmonic-based technology, flexsplines, and bearings. Compared with the previous generation of strain wave gear, the transmission accuracy and torsional rigidity are doubled. It is the first gear speed reducer in the world that achieves transmission accuracy within 10 arcseconds and fundamentally solves the problems around vibration coupling.
The Model Y third harmonic strain wave gear's core parts are developed with unique materials and special heat treatment processes; it is very suitable for application scenarios that require incredibly high transmission accuracy. Like all other Leaderdrive strain wave gears, it has a strong load-bearing capacity, good system rigidity, and low output vibration.

Applications:
The Model Y third harmonic strain wave gear is widely used in robots, metal processing machinery, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, laser equipment, measurement and analysis test equipment, medical equipment, telescopes, optical inspection equipment, metal machine tools, photovoltaic equipment, and other fields.
Models:
The Model Y third harmonic strain wave gear series currently has a single model, the YLHS-I:
YLHS-I: Hollow flexible wheel design; the input shaft is directly matched with the inner hole of the wave generator, and the third harmonic gear is connected by flat keys.
